In this screencast I will demonstrate how to embed a YouTube video into a Haiku WikiProject
You start by navigating to your YouTube video. Here's my demo on how to use Windows Live
Movie Maker. Scroll down and you will find the word "share".
Select "share" and what will be displayed is the YouTube url.
That's perfectly fine to share your video with people.
In fact it is suggested that you share your video via Facebook, Google Plus, etc.
But for a WikiProject, this won't do. Instead you will need the embed code.
You get that by selecting the word"embed". The url gets replaced by some HTML code.
You're going to want to copy it (I right click and copy).
I will then navigate to my Haiku page. This is a simulated WikiProject.
I am going to add a new content block and choose embed the web.
And in this box where it says "paste your code here", I am going to paste your code.
Then select "Next". And give it a title. I'll keep it simple
by typing in "video" If you want to view the code, you could or
determine where you want to place the block. I am just going to save it.
And when I do, a preview of my video pops right up in my WikiProject.
That's probably the best way to share so that it is more accessible to everyone.
So that is how you embed a YouTube video into a Haiku WikiProject
