Journal entries found in the woods part 2
By: Redrum_Riot
I've continued looking into this, but I haven't found much information. I don't want to just
ask random people, they'll think I'm insane. Regardless, I've continued my search for knowledge.
This next entry really has me puzzled. Either this guy actually is crazy or there is and
or was, something supernatural going on around here.
Entry Night Three: 3:03am - It's dark. It's cold. Loneliness is the first word that pops
into my head right now. Where the hell is she? She should be back by now. Why did I
let her do this? No one should be in The Elision alone.
Especially not at night. He's down there with her. I have to go down there, and fast.
Otherwise she might get killed. Think, Ash, think. I'm human now, there's not much
I can do. I'm going down there. Wait. The trail is gone. Gone?
How could that be? It was there only seconds earlier. This is impossible, I must have gotten turned
around. This was a terrible idea. The water is glistening red. Red!? I look up and there
she is, thank god. Her eyes show a different story though, she's terrified. She keeps a
straight face though, she's always been tough like that. She looks me dead in the eyes and
whispers “run.” then takes off down the trail leading out. I don't blame her, They're all here now. RUN.
Note: There are a few reasons this entry is especially
confusing. It names a place I've never heard of before that is located somewhere in the
woods, which I guess could be explained if it was an unofficial name that only a few
people knew it by. Another thing, this person... or thing... says they're human NOW. Well what
about before? At least now I know the name of the person who wrote these.
Ash
Entry Night Four: 4:50am - Him. He goes by Damien, but his real name is Aim. I'm not
supposed to know. Very few people know that. He tries to blend in. I'm not supposed to
know that either. Blair went down there again. What is she doing? She's been so cold, distant...
She's different. I think He's gotten to her, too. But why has she allowed it? Maybe it
was forced, she had no choice. I'll let Him take me instead. She'd be worried if she found
out. She'll be watching extra close. Messing with this stuff can get you into a lot of trouble.
It might even get you killed. The Elision is ours, and it's not too easy to find. I
have come to find this is no way to live a life. There's notes. Hidden notes. I've hidden
notes and you're going to have to find them. It'll help you through all of this. We are
just as secretive as everyone else in this town. Did I mention I don't like confined
spaces? There was this one big rock and I hit it hard enough that I yelled. Once I recovered,
I found a note. “I'm watching you. You are not alone. Beware.”
I should be more afraid, right?
Note: After reading this, I'm not sure who this
person is writing to. Maybe whoever found the notebook. I'm kind of wishing someone
else had found it. This next entry answered at least one of my questions.
Entry Night Five: 1:40am - Them. That's right.
There's more than just one. There's hundreds. Thousands even. You scared yet? I'm genuinely
nervous. But not for me, for you. The one who ends up finding this journal. Hopefully
it falls into the right hands. They really got me this time. I mean REALLY got me. Blair
must have seen something bad enough to take this kind of risk. No messages, no calls – nothing.
Something bad is about to happen, I can feel it. They seem to be killing people left and
right. But they're smart about it. They haven't gotten caught, and most of these people are
“missing persons.” They've gone even further than I thought they would. If it's deadly
trouble you want, it's deadly trouble you'll get. That was when I saw The Red Door, it
was a normal door like you'd have in your house. But the peculiar thing is that it's
in the middle of the woods. It also looks to be in perfect condition. New paint, no
scratches. This is also when I heard Him. He's after me. He knows I'm close to solving
His little game. I can feel Him staring. Watching. Waiting. If I make any sudden movements, it's
game over. They're all here now. I'm surrounded. There's no turning back now. This is bad.
Real bad. After reading this one, I've concluded that
Ash is writing to me. Or, technically whoever was to find this, but it turned out to be
me anyway. I have half the heart to just back out, not get into this mess. But I feel likeI'm already in too deep.
Entry Night Six: 2:30am - I'm not sure what
happened. Maybe I passed out. I woke up in the woods. Well, I made it through another
night of darkness... Sort of. “DSOTM” That's what's carved into my wrist. Did I
do that? I don't think so. It must have been Aim. But what does it stand for? My best guess
would be “Dark Side of The Moon.” I'm still not sure what that's supposed to mean.
Time to go for a walk, I guess. Nothing better to do anyway. I'm deep in thought when I come
across another one of those Red Doors. In the middle of the woods. None of this makes
sense. Should I go in or keep walking? Within a matter of seconds, the sky turns pitch black.
I guess that's what the note meant. The moon has turned black. They're watching me again.
It means I stepped over the line. It means I'm next to play pawn in Their messed up game.
I feel a chill run down my spine, like I've been standing in a freezer, and I'm about
to break into a million tiny pieces. This feeling doesn't just come out of nowhere.
I don't think it's a feeling from this world. It's from His kingdom. Their kingdom.
The kingdom of the dead.
Note: Was the writer of these schizophrenic? I feel
like it's a very real possibility. But what if there's some truth to it all? I can't stop
searching. Something has gotten inside of me and made me so intrigued with this, that
it's all I can focus on. I have to get to the bottom of this. Will update soon.
