Our cat Andy loves the new Christmas tree.
But whenever we come home, ornaments are always all over the room.
So, I set up a time-lapse camera, to see what he does all day, while we're gone.
Okay, we need to roll that back right there.
Five minutes after we leave, you can see Andy heads to the tree.
He bathes himself, then attacks the tree for a couple minutes.
But then, he climbs the tree!
We need to see that again.
There he is. All the way at the top of the tree.
10 minutes later, he comes back, plays with the tree some more,
then he goes upstairs to sleep on the bed for three more hours.
At 11, I came home briefly, but when I left,
you can see Andy goes to the window, watches me leave,
goes to the front of the house too.
Once he's sure that the coast is clear,
he gets right back to work on the tree.
Climbs all the way up to the top again.
Pokes his little head out right there.
It's like he does this every time we leave, like right after we leave, he has to get in
the tree.
If it's some sort of rebellion or something, I don't know.
But it's weird, because when we're home, he still loves the tree,
but he just sits there under it, and acts like a perfect little angel.
