This was during the ceremony for the placement of the rock at Fort Christiana. So how are
we -- what are we -- how do we - So how do we treat these now? Very carefully. You took
my line. Real carefully. These are an extraordinary volume of material that are going to be coming
to the Archives. I've perused them as you are now, Governor, and they are in pristine
condition. They were well cared for and well-loved and preserved by the family. What is so interesting
and so helpful is that they're in chronological order already. A lot of times when the Archives
gets materials you'll find it in a box. Just a box like that and it's all loose papers
and you then have to then go through a processing arrangement and look at original order and
how to keep those materials. Here, that work has already been done. So what we'll do with
these materials, we'll categorize them, advise on our website that we have these materials
and they'll be available for researchers to come in and look at them. You'll find so many
historians and just interested public wanting to come in to the Archives especially when
they know something new -- there's been a new accession coming in to the Archives for
people to view. And people want to look at those materials.
