Okay, so we are almost wrapping up Ashley's hair. I've got three more sections to go and
I'm actually going to do the last two sections on my own. But before we get started on the
third to the last section, I just want to show you guys and give you an idea of what
Ashley's hair will, the end product will look like. And so here we have these, these sections
of hair that we did. Really, really pretty. It looks really nice, Ashley. Do you notice
that I actually chose a rubber band that's a little bit lighter than her hair. No big
deal. But when you're shopping for rubber bands, you may want to look for something
that's a little bit closer to her hair. These just actually happened to be stronger than
the black ones that we have, the black rubber bands that we have at the moment. So that's
why we're using the brown ones. They're a little bit stronger and break less easily.
So Ashley can actually play with her hair. She doesn't have to put it in a ponytail.
She can just have it down like that. That's really pretty. You can, you do not with the
synthetic hair, you do not use a curling iron. I will repeat. You do not use a curling iron
with synthetic hair. Here's some ideas on how to curl synthetic hair. Alright, this
is the last section that we're going to be doing, but I want you guys to pay attention
and be really careful with this technique also. You know your sponge curlers that grandma
used to wear or back in the fifties and you'd see the women with their little caps on their
head and they used to walk around like that? You take those old sponge curlers, and you
can find new ones and they're sold pretty much anywhere at any hair supply and sometimes
grocery stores, and you put, you take a section or two, two of those, roll them up in the
pink curlers and then you take boiling water, be very, very careful, and you, what I do
is I put the boiling water in a little bowl. And I take Ashley's hair when we do this technique,
it's very, very hot water, and we dip, I'll put her hair, dip it in the bowl like that.
Let it sit for about thirty seconds, okay, have a towel nearby, you grab the towel and
you dry the hair and you do not let that dripping, boiling water touch that person at all. You
bring it back up and you start over. So when you're all done with your finished product
and you want to curl the synthetic hair, you're going to put them up in the pink rollers or
in the sponge rollers, and you're going to have your water boiling, and you're going
to curl her hair like that. Thank you so much for joining us with Ashley and with expertvillage.com
in learning how to cornrow with extensions. I'm Jeanette, and it was nice spending the
last little bit with you.
