Today on this 2013 Kia Rio well be test fitting the Glacier snow chains, part number PW1030.
Well be working with a tire size of 185 65515. A few notes about these chains, they are designed
for passenger vehicles with limited wheel well clearance. They work on either front
or rear wheel drive vehicles. Well lay out our chains first on the ground and well make
sure that the hooks on the side of the chains are facing away from the tires. Well go ahead
and lay it on the tire, and then well tuck the one end going toward the front underneath
the front of the wheel as far as possible. Well center our chain on the tire as best
we can, and then well go ahead and roll the tire forward a little bit. Were going to get
on the inside edge of the tire, well go ahead and hook the cables together. Theres a catch,
and then the other new cable has a *** built into it. Well try to run it as far as we can
together, and then the knobs through the latch or key hole until they catch. Now well go
to the outside of the tire and repeat the same process.
