This test was conducted in a controlled environment.
Do not attempt to snowboard (snowless or otherwise)
behind a moving vehicle.
Ready for snowless snowboarding with Digital Rev
So we've been sent to Paris. # LifeTest
Chevrolet has kindly given us this, # LifeTest
the Captiva SUV, # LifeTest
and then we've also been given a snowboard. # LifeTest
We've also been set a simple challenge,
to drive to the Alps
where we will compare the GoP* 2 versus 3,
meeting up with a pro boarder.
Then we would have to end the day
with a sunset shot up there.
And then we'd meet the bloody producer
there at the DRTV chalet
to receive our prize: a cup of tea,
a buffet of baguettes
and a large warm bed. *IMAGE FOR REFERENCE ONLY
But just as we're on our way
we're told that a snowstorm will be coming.
Sounds great for snowboarding,
but highway closures were expected,
rail services would be stopped.
We worked out that we just wouldn't be able to get there.
It looked like we weren't going to go anywhere
Alp-like on this bleak day, so we stopped.
Well, although we couldn't make it to the Alps
and no pro boarder, we do have mud,
which is like snow, only brown.
And we had just the right person
to do this snow/mud boarding.
"Let's get you dressed.
I think there's a changing room just over there".
"oh ya, Just behind the Board"
"That tree there is quite thick,
you can probably just change over there".
Elambi told us that she's had board
experiences before, so she's the perfect candidate.
"Let's not look. Let's look over there.
Gentlemen".
It was freezing.
Luckily we had some French
food to keep us warm.
"Baguettes. Baguettes.
Baguettes, with something in it.
Baguettes, with something in it.
A big baguette.
Macarons.
Wine.
So, we're gonna keep that safe in the car.
Haha, you took a long time".
"Look at all this tape I have to put on.
It's so hard to walk and -- eeww, muddy!".
"That's not it".
"No?".
"So sad you couldn't see the snow,
but sorry, we're doing mud boarding.
So let's go".
Bill and Elamby's experience help.
"Oh no.
Surf's up. Hang on.
Whoa, whoa, whoa".
Elamby eats mud again - and again. Oh no.
It seems like we're nailing it.
But are we wasting too much time here?

Trouble is we still can't get to the Alps
for a sunset shot.
But I had an idea.
We can't go up some big snowy mountain,
but why not go up a bit of a hill in Paris - civilization -
for a sunset shot?
So now, we race back to Paris to catch the sunset,
at least get the second part
of the challenge done
so we can claim a much called-for prize.
But will we make it?
