Hello this is Jill with another corporate event update.
It is April 6 and we are up here in beautiful west surf running the Wild Goose Chase event
for some event industry professionals who were up in west side, getting to know the
area for a couple of events they have coming up and they wanted to run one of our events
to get to know us and to find out a little bit more about what they can do up at Whistler.
So we ran a Wild Goose Chase event and they had such a blast. They are really awesome
to see all the photos they came up with and all the different challenges and interactions
that they had with this event. They were super creative and went right to it, the weather
was little bit rainy, classic crystal weather for April but they didn't really matter to
them, they went through and their creativeness with their challenges and their ingenuity
with finding ways to think outside the box with some of the activities to get the most
point value were quite entertaining for myself and my team to see. One of the most entertaining
moments from the event was one of the challenges was to get the teams to find the biggest rock
possible, photograph themselves with that rock and then bring it back to the finish,
and usually you get set of standard stone size rocks and all that good stuff. 2 teams
came back with what looks like pieces of a pathway sized boulders that had 2 teammates
carrying it, it was so large. So really funny to see they took that challenge to the next
level. We got them to go put them back where they had found it afterwards but really funny
to see these groups walking through Whistler village with these massive boulder size rocks.
So really entertaining, the group had a lot of fun and really awesome interactions between
all of the teams and with the teams and the other people Whistler, because we got them
to, you know, get outside of their comfort zone a little bit with this event and interact
with the public and utilize their resources to really get their best top challenges out
there. So really awesome to see and fun, exciting event, really enjoyed it and the clients are
really happy with their ability to be able to sort of see those different elements of
Whistler that they don't always get to see on trips up there before. So awesome experience
and looking forward to running another event with them soon and if you would like to plan
a corporate event with our group then you can contact our sales team and we'll be happy
to help you.
