Hi, I'm Jennifer Cail and on behalf of Expert Village I'm going to show you how to make
delicious traditional Thanksgiving Day stuffing for your turkey. Now that we have all of our
vegetables have been sauted and the cornbread has been set to dry out by sticking it in
the oven. It's time to mix everything together, we are just going to scoop the sauted vegetables
into the cornbread start mixing it up, start breaking up the clumps a little bit. You don't
want it to have a crumb like consistency but you don't need to have the large chunks of
the cornbread either. I'm going to keep scooping these in and everything is nice and hot so
you want to make sure that you get this into the turkey before things have a chance to
cool down too much. Because once your food starts to cool down below a certain temperature
about hundred twenty degrees then that's about the time the bacteria can start to grow. You
want to make sure particularly with something like stuffing that you keep the temperature
setting on either warm or cold. Rather than allowing bacteria to get a hold and start
growing in it, once we get this all mixed in the only problem with using really large
skillets they are kind of heavy when you need to empty everything out of it. Also we aware
of your bowl size this was unfortunately the largest bowl I had but it's okay. One other
thing to remember while you're cooking anything is if you don't have the exact size of, necessary
it's okay to make substitutions. Great cooks are made by being able to go with the punches
and substituting where you need to. The last ingredient is putting the rest of the dried
apple at this point you can also add more seasoning salt and pepper maybe some sage
or thyme. Depending on what your taste are and how you want your turkey to taste also
depends on what you are going to be seasoning for your turkey and if you're going to be
putting into the cavity of your stuffing.
