The Harry Ransom Center's film collection gets its close-up in the exhibition Making Movies.
While viewing materials from the Center's extensive film holdings,
you can track the filmmaking process from script to celluloid,
and discover the contributions of the artists involved in this process.
From writers to directors, actors to cinematographers,
costume designers to art directors.
The exhibition includes screenplays of North by Northwest and Shakespeare in Love,
storyboards and costumes from Gone with the Wind,
Gloria Swanson's annotated script for Sunset Boulevard,
and the costumes and papers of actor, director, and producer Robert De Niro.
February 9th through August 1st, Open Tuesday through Sunday.
Free and open to the public.
