Welcome to the weekend K-State. I’m Brooke Lennington with Wildcat Watch wishing you
a happy Friday. Don’t let anybody tell you there’s nothing to do on a Friday night.
Get out there and have some fun!
Come watch K-State’s Men’s Club Soccer play against Wichita State tonight at home.
The game begins at 7:00pm. There’s no better way to jumpstart your fall semester than acting
like a soccer hooligan and cheering on the Cats. Am I right?
Tonight at Union’s Little Theater you can check out American History X, starring Edward
Norton and Edward Furlong. It’s an intense movie sure to stimulate your viewing pleasure.
It starts at 8:00pm and tickets are only a dollar. Check the UPC website for more weekend
show times.
After a night of movie watching; kick-start your morning with a crossfit introduction
class at the natatorium. This class is made for beginners, so don’t be intimidated.
The action starts Saturday in Room 4 at 5:00am. Only kidding, it starts at 10:00am not 5:00am.
Settle down…
In the evening, you can cheer on the volleyball team against Baylor. The game is part of the
St. Mary’s Tournament and will be streamed on K-StateHD.TV. Get set in Ahearn Field House
at 7:00pm to see the ladies serve up a victory.
And last but not least, on Sunday at 7:00pm, head over to the Kramer Multicultural Resource
Center for Noche De Cultura. There’s going to be dancing lessons, indoor games, authentic
Hispanic cuisine, and even a live DJ and a dance floor for you to spice up your night.
What a weekend! Enjoy your needed R-and-R after a long week of classes, but get out
there and have some fun! Go check out some of these events. I know I plan on it.
That’s all I got. You can follow Wildcat Watch online on Facebook and Twitter. I’m
Brooke Lennington, have a great weekend Wildcats.
