uh... we talked yesterday about the obama immigration decision not to deport
uh... young illegals who are currently under thirty and came to the u_s_ when
they were younger than sixteen or younger with their parents and are not
convicted felons and either were or are in school or were in the military are
working uh... interestingly enough we were talking about whether this would
help or hurt president obama we weren't really sure
and your poll suggests that this might actually
help him quite a bit because a majority of likely voters agree with the uh...
decision sixty four percent of likely voters say they agree with the president
recision
not to do as the politicians are you surprised by the senate after that i i
am spencer notes on what do you think i really thought that it was going to be
well there's still time for republicans the turn it around and and then these
numbers but at least initially
where are you surprised the numbers this time announced the prize uh... i would
have thought that
a majority of the public would think this of but more importantly i think
what this or does it include
is that hispanic voters will prolly be motivated to go vote
on election day and since they vote you know in a majority for obama i think
it's gonna help 'em that way as well that's a good point lou s right i mean
how many new
hispanic voters who may not by the rise of voted maybe have never voted in the
past that they would never even show up on a poll like this is likely voters
typically to qualify as a likely voter you have to say that you are registered
and that you have voted in the past depending on how the sampling is done so
that's another possibility how many new hispanic voters will enter the fray as a
result of this policy
i wonder how calculated that was i mean it
if if they have the mentality that with if brownie wins this could be
immediately repealed and my kid could get sent you know deported right
pretty pretty powerful but then you're suing everybody knows the difference
between a building past an executive order they uh... i think it may be may
have
thought strategy but in a broader level and that even
perhaps yes
