Okay, today we're going to talk about how long does waxing take. If you were to go in
and make an appointment at a salon to have a part of your body waxed, it's going to depend
on which part of the body but from start to finish you want to actually prepare yourself
with a little bit of extra time so you can disrobe properly. And then a little bit of
extra time at the end of the appointment so that you can again become dressed before you
enter back into the salon. When you do have a waxing done on your eyebrows, because those
times are not necessary it's a much shorter appointment you can expect typically anywhere
from fifteen to twenty minutes and sometimes less if you don't have very thick eyebrows.
If you're doing your underarms, probably a little bit longer, sometimes if you have a
good aesthetician that's going to be doing the waxing for your underarms, they will apply
a product that will actually numb the area, previous to the waxing procedure, and they
may want for you to just sit for about five minutes with that numbing agent on the skin,
so it could take you know, up to thirty-five minutes for that appointment. If you're having
the bikini area waxed on the other hand, obviously there's going to be some preparation there,
numbing type products would be preferable and it's going to take extra time for those,
it's a larger area to wax, you're going to have to probably expect at least forty-five
minutes for a bikini wax, if you're having your legs waxed you can probably expect anywhere
from a half an hour to forty-five minutes as well. Typically no numbing agent is used
on the leg area because the legs are not quite as sensitive. So probably closer to a half
an hour if you have someone who is efficient and knows what they're doing. And that would
be about the amount of time that you would want to prepare.
