Hello YouTube and welcome to this new unboxing video
And well, it's already Christmas for me, because after the Apex Carbine, I'm getting a new gift
The Hi-Capa 5.1 Spartan Imports from JB Airsoft
I know, you all hate me, but it doesn't matter because I hate you too
So, the Hi-Capa 5.1 Spartan Imports has been generously offer to me by Vincent from JB Airsoft
You can find it in their shop or on their website (link in the video description) for 150 euros
Actually, it's even 149 euros, it's written on the box
The gun
So, little story behind this gun, because there is one
This gun has been made in the first place by a fan of the Hi-Capa 5.1 Tokyo Marui
He wanted to make his own model of the gun, which would be full metal
A lot of players don't like Marui plastic, even if I personnally like it
So he made his own gun, believing "it's going to be my own custom gun and that's it"
In the beginning it wasn't supposed to be a production model, but Spartan Imports had the opportunity to see the gun and liked it
(I don't know much about Spartan Imports actually, if someone has info about it... Don't hesitate to comment)
Anyway, Spartan Imports liked it and decided to produce the gun
Then, JB Airsoft started to sell the Hi-Capa Spartan Imports
But each gun sold by JB Airsoft is also prepared by Danny, who is JB Airsoft's technical manager
So in the end, this gun is basically a full Metal Hi-Capa 5.1, compatible with Marui parts and already upgraded
You can see here the red nozzle, put in the gun by Danny from JB Airsoft, it can handle CO2
The idea is to have a 150 euros gun which can be at least as good as Tokyo Marui Gbb on a performance point of view, while being full metal
As you might know I love Marui guns, and to me, the only way to have something better than a Marui, is to have an upgraded Marui
With PDI parts, prometheus, laylax, nineball and parts like that
So, already upgraded gun for 150 euros... Well, why not, just need to see it for myself now
I'll try to really test the gun and have an objective opinion about it
Then I'll tell you if I believe it's worth its 150 euros yes or no
I find the finish really not bad, the slide is made of metal, the marking here is well made
Here you have an other marking on the chamber
Slide locks to the rear without any kind of problem
You can "power stroke" the slide without problem too, not like the KJW I already tried
Let's take a look on the trigger control...
So, I like it... On a KJW, the trigger tends to "jump" right after the shoot
But here, I find the trigger reset quite good
I really like the feeling
Not everybody care about this kind of details but, well, I personally like to have a good feeling about the trigger
Also as you have seen, the gun comes with a briefcase, which I guess is nicer than a cardboard box
You have enough room for 2 or 3 spare magazines
So, for 149 euros, a full metal Hi-Capa 5.1, compatible with Marui parts, which is supposed to have good performances
Just need to test it now... Thanks for watching !
