They look lovely.
glasses, they look brilliant,
hope someones in, hello
do you mind if i take a few pictures of your glasses and things. i'm a raving photographer
i love all the colours you've got on here
janes filming me, we take little videos about how to take interesting
pictures and stuff. oh right.
is that alright? yes.
that's very kind, thank you.
wide lens
they give you a great sense of intimacy being close they make things disappear off
into the distance really really well
so again, wide angle lens
and i'm going to have lots of depth of field, i want it to go all the way along with all these
brightly-colored things
so i'm going to rack
my aperture down a bit
i'm going to use F16, that's a lot of depth of field
make sure my shutter speed is fast enough, that
i don't get
camera shake
so let's choose i nice brightly coloured, i like these red ones. so i'm hoping i can
get that
strong again, i can.
look at that, lets bring that focus in on those red glasses,
that's great because you can see people looking in at the stall at the moment
isn't that cool, how cool does that look.
let's get in really really close.
let's get really really close here, look at that
that's really cool,
we've got glasses balanced with a guy who's picking them up.
f_-sixteen lost the depth of field, ISO four hundred
camera sensitive enough that it's giving me a twentieth
maybe more
twenty-fifth of a second
i know I've got no camera shake, twenty-fifth of a second with a
ten mil lens at the moment.
i'm going to pick up my long lens.
i tend to like,
all or nothing
i'm not playing with the mid lens much i either want it really wide, or really really long and shallow
because with the long lens we can on isolate bits and pieces in
here we're gonna isolate some of the things.
i love the colours
of this one.
i like these sort of rainbow-y colours in the back there.
whether or not,
we can do something with that, i don't know. i'm going to try.
so long lens
if you're going to use a long lens, use it long so I've got mine on full mega super zoom.
Again it's two point eight
for shallow shallow depth of field the opposite of a wide angle lens.
my objective is to try and focus
on these colorful glasses, still looking along a little bit.
And have them sharp, and everything else completely blurred in the background.
i may have to move that, i don't know i don't want to fiddle around with her stock.
first thing I've got to do, is find that actual pair of glasses, oh here they are.
move back a bit, so i can focus.
single point focus, i want to focus and keep it there.
I've got to go out far enough that i can see the glasses, there they are.
excellent
let's just squeeze that off.
no, i'm too close i gotta
rock, back a bit.
That's focused.
that's pretty cool isn't it?
i don't think it works as well as the wide angle shot, but i still like it.
of look there's glasses cases,
i'm a bloke i thought they were a girls thing, you know,
that you put stuff for girls in, i dunno. anyway
they're colourful that's what i'm interested in.
there's lot's of colour going on behind them, sorry i keep walking up and down janey.
look at all that colour. colour colour colour colour all the way coming along here.
with your long lens, it's really easy to isolate a piece of that colour and get a
still life.
we'll do it with the wide again in a minute, as well.
so back here,
let's look along that colour.
oh, cool.
let's get down in here.
gotta come out a bit, because we cant see them properly.
there you go.
uh...
look at that so we've isolated i nice little bit of colour and detail.
but it's not really saying
market is it? So let's get the wide one out,
Let's go F four point five.
somebody walking up the street as few people, let's see what we can do with them.
here we go, it would be really cool if they came over to this stool but they're not going to.
no, we have an abandoned market at the moment.
let's just come in here and concentrate,
that's really cool the word in focus
which is obviously
manufacture of the glasses
it's a good markets kind of
street life-y sort of picture.
