Ok! With the animation set, go to the physical configuration of the cloth
On the "Physics", we'll find the parameters
available for configuring the cloth in Blender
The first session of the block "Cloth" is called "Quality"
In it, the button "Steps" defines the quality of simulation results
let the default "5" even!
Items in the section "Material" find the "Mass" that defines the weight of the cloth
Higher values cause the cloth to be driven down
while smaller values make the cloth to float more
weightless because something does not fall!
Let's set the "1000" as the weight of our cloth!
The second option is "Structural"
This option defines the rigidity of the cloth in relation to its weight
is used in combination with the "Mass"
The higher the values, the cloth seem to have a structure of delicate fabric
like silk or microfiber
The lower values, the cloth will have more elasticity,
takes on the appearance of cotton or wet cloth, for example.
Everything depends on the combination of "Structural" and "Mass"
The third option is "Bending"
it defines the size of the folds of cloth
the higher the value, the wrinkled folds are
Items in the session "Damping", find the options that affect the descent of the cloth
ie, the force that pushes the cloth down
The "Spring" sets the speed of the fall of the cloth
Higher values make smoother the fall
The "Air" sets the influence of air on the drop cloth
High values pull the cloth down
while low values make it more flowing cloth
The "Pinning" sets the pin to the cloth,
allowing you to define a set of vertices as the attachment point
The "Stiffness" sets the spring effect that happens
when you make sudden movements in a cloth
The higher the value, the effect will appear
Remember that all these settings vary
according to weight and structure of the cloth, set on "Mass" and "Structural"
Finally, in the "Presets" is a list of predefined settings,
can add one of our own by clicking the "+"
or remove an existing, via the "-"
In the "Cloth Stiffness Scaling"
we can gain greater control over the structure and the folds of cloth
This can be done by specifying a set of vertices
for the options "Structural Stiffness" or "Bending Stiffness"
depending on what we want to adjust
The group of vertices that are in "Structural Stiffness"
will change the structure of the mesh according to the value "Max" this option
The group of vertices that are in "Bending Stiffness"
will change the wrinkling of the mesh according to the value "Max" this option
The refinement of these options can be edited by the "Weight Paint Mode"
The use of "Weight Paint Mode" will not be addressed now, but in another tutorial more comprehensive
This was the second part!
In the last part, we'll learn more about the cache on collision and animation
