[Son]- Hey dad!
[Father] Hey Keith!
[Son] Am I late for dinner?
[Father] Well probably, but dinner is not ready yet. What you’ve been doing?
[Son] Nothing much! Just been over Willy’s house.
[Father] Hmm How’s Willy?
[Son] Willy is good. I am gonna go wash up.
[Father] Ok!
[Son] Hey dad!
[Father] Hey Keith!
[Son] Am I late for dinner?
[Father] Well you are an hour late, but dinner is not ready yet. What you’ve been doing?

[Son] Well practice was cancelled, so I decided to go over to Willy’s house to shoot some hoops.
[Father] And Willy’s parents aren’t home after school, are they?
[Son] Well, no they’re not but we stayed outside, we didn’t go in.
[Father] Have a seat.
Keith it looks like we need a couple of rules here.
First, when your plans change you need to call
and second, if you’re at someone’s house, inside or out, parents need to be home.
[Son] ok but we weren’t doing anything wrong.
[Father] I know, but from now on these are the rules. Ok?
[Son] Ok!
[Father] Now go wash up and I’m going to call Willy’s parents and let them know about these rules.
[Son] Alright!
[Father] Alright
