Hey, I was going at 100 km/h, and then you pushed the accelerator down and in a whim you're 10 cars ahead!
[G]: You know what an accident detector is? It's when the passenge is scared as fck, and the driver speeds up.
Okay, well, I have the HVAC on and the Sport mode is off. Now check out! This is the first video with a 2.5 L BMW kicking a GTR's ***
We are shooting a movie. Wanna take part?
We have a couple of parts left.
The guys here are sitting on the rags they just took out o the GTR. Here are the rags that are in the car.
[S]: Priora rags!
Sergey was born to be a businessman. He sold his Priora but kpt the rags to himself so that he doesn't riun the GTR's.
Did you get it? People have rags to protect the floor, and this guy has rags to protect rags.
Hi everyone!
This is a review of Nissan GTR. A car reviewed apart from it's stereo is a rare thing on our channel.
We usually review cars that are very interesting or are our friends'.
This car has undergone some changes for sure. It has 735 horse powers.
Well, we won't do much talking. Sergey will tell us what has been done to this car.
And then he will take us for a ride. He'll kick it up a little bit abd then I will very much ask him,
ad if I get his pemission, I will take a ride - within the allowed speed range (we never drive over 90 km/h on highways, you know)
And traditionally, Sergey has already been shooting me. This is his friend Vova (Vladimir) btw.
Okay, Serge, tell us what's been done to the car. Or maybe we shall pull up the hood and see what's going on in there?
Hey, people, wanna see what's under the GTR's hood?
So what? Just another engine. Like any other car has.
[S]: Yep. It's almost the same.
So if we go in there and just buy a Nissan Note -- Oh, we probably won't find any here, will we?
[S]: The original plastic tank was replaced with a stainless steel one. So were all the hoses.
[S]: Zero resistance air filters - but you cannot see them from here. The original ones were some plastic chops.
[S]: That was all replaced, and a curvestream injector was set in there.
[S]: Other upgrades were, the exhaust system's been completely replaced. All the catalysts are gone.
[S]: What else? Te fuel pumps have all been replaced. The nozzles were replaced with better ones.
[S]: The engine was not dealed with internally yet. But this winter, in 2017, we plan to get to that and make it up from 735 HP to some 1100 HP.
Come on! Seriously?
[S]: Well, that's the winter plan.
Let's keep it low until you've done it, 'kay?
[S]: We increased the turbine's productivity by 1.5 Bar.
[S]: The middle art of the gearbox was replaced with a stronger one coming from GTR MK3 version.
[S]: MK2 just couldn't handle the power and broke down. And no we have a stronger one.
[S]: And that is the reason behind the fact you can hear the gears squeech a little while driving.
[S]: The brake rotors ave all been replaced. The ones on now are of American make, Ikon.
[S]: And the original plastic mouldings were all replaced, now they'er all in carbon.
I mean, just a regular car, right? Nothing special.
[S]: 530 HP went up to 735 but I saw a stand test done in Moscow, it's just I'm not the first owner of the car's. So on that stand it showed 782 HP.
[S]: It was with Q16 fuel. Here we don't have any of that so I charge it with AI-98 whose quality, I suspect, is far from perfect, too.
I'm freaking out a little bit. I'm about to take a ride in the fastest car I've ever sen.
[S]: There is no chance to make the car use full capacity on city streets as all of them are very dusty and the car lacks adhesion, so --
[S]: Its best shot was in Unlim 500 in Moscow. It made it through quarter-mile (402 m) in 10.5 sec.
[S]: But it wasn't me. It was just the car [with its previous owner].
Oh, the car. And you? Have you already participated in Unlim?
[S]: In Rostov, there was a drag race, and I won it.
First time, and first place!
[S]: I mean, that was only the first try. And te season has only just begun.
I bet you want to hear it. And now we will record its sound. This is not it yet. This was that Volkswagen there.
Check out the way these door handles are made.
To open the door, you need to push here, and here comes out the handle you grab.
Why is that so? Dunno. For better aerodynamic properties, maybe. What a nice sound!
[S]: It also has this nice top-pitched sound. It egts out once you push --
What do we have here? Transmission temp, motor oil temp, cooling liquid temp --
All the indication goes on on a digital screen. No need in endless metes like in Mitsubishis and Subarus.
[S]: Here. You can change the turbine's blank run pressure.
So this car is for racing only. Everything is finetuned for sports.
[S]: Friction, brakeage -- Everything is here. Even steering wheel control...
The interior is kind of Spartan. No luxury stuff but it is still very nocely done. Stylish and just as much.
Sergey. Enough with playing. Let's go for a ride.
[S]: GTR is considered to be one of the safest cars in the world.
[S]: It's like a capsule.
[S]: A girl in Moscow at Unlim 500 lost control and hit a bump stop driving at 170 km/h.
[S]: And then she opened the door, took her purse and left the track leaving people in shock.
Hey, look! It overran us! What is that?
Oh my fcking god!
Feels like you're being launched to outer space.
[S]: This is automatic mode, btw. I don't use the steering wheel control buttons. This is pretty much *** driving. Any car can do it automatically.
Why don't you turn on the air conditioner? Are you saving on fuel or what?
[V]: Consider it a Sauna, Alex!
[S]: Actually, we were traveling with the windows open. It's just now we shut them rapidly.
No, I'm just curious, in general, why don't you use the HVAC?
[S]: Let's turn it on.
Sure we can do it now. I wonder why not in general?
[S]: 'Cuz I get sick all the time.
Of course you do. Wanna know why? 'Cuz you drive around with windows open, you sweat
and then you turn on the cooling. Sure thing you'll catch a cold. I will, too, now.
See? I got all sweaty on our way here. Probably 'cuz I was scared of being in a GTR with the windows closed.
This is sad, tho. I mean, in a car worth ₽5 million this part should've been all in gold.
[S]: Hoo, no chance you can buy one of thse for ₽5,000,000 now.
How much, then?
[S]: If I remember it correctly, the pricing began at ₽6,370,000
That is a very-very nice 3-room apartment in a nice neighborhood of Rostov, and amazingly decorated [the estate pricing in Rostov is considered very high]
Only... Nay. No decoration, I guess
I am sorry if you can't hear us well. It's not that the car is poorly noise-proofed but this sound --
I'm afraid no proofing can help here.
The stock muffler is supposed to work quieter. But here, the exhaust system was replaced.
I switched places and got in the back to check it out here. It's very nice. I expected it to be worse.
There is still some space between my legs and the back of the seat.
And you can hear the muffler much better.
Here, in the back it feels like you're on a boat. On an aquabike.
All so jumpy!
180 km/h. Just hop - and 180!
[S]: The picture is nice here, right?
Yep. Yeah.
[S]: We're getting closer to the city.
[V]: Look what I have
[S]: The vrakes are overheating.
How do you know if they are?
[S]: We just installed them
But do they vibrate or something?
[S]: They slow down the movement. I haven't really gotten used to them yet.
I think if you installed my BMW's brakes here, they would've exploded in the first attempt to slow down.
[V]: For the record, it kicks *** with the HVAC on!
260 km/h with the conditioning on!
I'm pretty sure the software turns it off when necessary. In BMW, it dies.
Hey, Sergey. verything's alright with the car? We stopped for a quick break.
[S]: The brakes are smoking!
I just move my finger close to it, and it''s alreay like roasted.
I'm not touching that.
Can you hear it work? Drrrrrrr...
So it was almost 300 km/h, right? Over here! Hey, is anybody with dragtimes.info watching us?
Who's got the balls to go at 300 km/h here? Btw, the channel is awesome. You should see it.
Look! Somebody died at their own speed + 250 km/h.
250 - and there it stopped!
[S]: The brakes are new. The pads are still a little --
Oh, so you've replaced the brakes recently?
[S]: Yeah. Just yesterday.
So I gess the brakes are like gas here. You fill the tank, and you grab new brakes. Am I right?
So guys here are discussing why it is going so slow today. Is it 'cuz there's 3 of us? Or 'cuz there's only 1 Bar in the turbine?
So now they're deciding whether one of us is staying here of the turbine is being reset.
so that they can show the car in full swing. I'm not sure a fuller swing than this one before is even possible.
Sure, racers and turbo guys will start speaking intercoolers and all that jazz.
But it goes fast as Hell! We speeded up to 260, I think. I didn't catch it for I reached for my iPhone. I wanted to post a pic on Instagram.
This car's specific feature is that the gearbox is in the back.
Not the engine but the gearbox. The weight balance is perfec, as I understand it. Plus there are two cardans, right?
And the box in the back... Google it if you want. The car has a bunch of interesting solutions brought in in it.
And, back in the day, when I was Skylined to the bone, the producers did not attribute themselves to Nissan.
They claimed to be making different cars, claimed it was a completely different world.
And this puppy here is kinda Skyline even though it didn't get the name
There was R35 Pro, after R34.
It was still a Skyline. You could only drive it in Need for Speed: Shift. And then there was this miracle.
Racers talk. They took out a connector, and the car slowed the run. They know it can go faster. And I know I'm shocked AF.
And now I'm gonna drive it. I'm not gonna go too fast. I'm just curious to be at the steering wheel.
So I sat here and -- there is fun stuff everywhere here. Chech this out. Twist is for the back, front/back, up/down is for the seat position.
So a single piece stands for a whole panel in BMWs and Mercedezes.
And in those, if the drive is combo, the handles in the front are mechanic. Here, a single controller does it all.
They still couldn't leave this maze behind. Why did BMW come up with a back-an-forth handle, and here they didn't?
This one is fairly simple, though.
The controllability is great. I mean, I'm not going over my head but I can feel I can control the car.
It's like driving a cart. Feels like the car is stuck to the ground.
[S]: You don't need to push hard. It switches itself. See?
What's that again? 200 km/h?
[S]: Yep.
I said I wouldn't go fast. I mean, I pushed it just a tad. It's not my car so I don;t mean to go crazy. Plus, in order Sergey doesn't get nervous.
I am trying to be careful. You don't feel the speed from here at all. At 200, I just got suspicious.
Maybe, 300 km/h would make me freak out. It was way scarier in the back.
I didn't feel these 200 km/h from behind the wheel. At all.
[S]: If you had to choose between a BMW M5, a Mercedez EMG and a GTR, what would you buy?
I would never buy a GTR as a main car. If I needed a daily + speed, I'd go with the M5 or an AMG. Something like that.
GTR is a completely different level. And the BMW -- where do I turn here? Right?
BMWs and car like hose are like a couch. You lean back, relax, watch some TV. And if you need it, you can speed up and get somewhere fast.
This is completely different.
[S]: Yeah, but this is a car that draws attention. I mean, there are, like, ten AMGs, and with these, there are 1 or 2.
When people see an M series BMW, they see just a skirted BMW, or a more expensive BMW.
'vuz it has 'little iblings'. I mean, there are, say, 3-ers with sompler interiors. And this car is like the only child.
and it's made for asskicking. So, sure thing, it's gonna draw attention.
But I don't get it driving on the 6th gear all the time. And more than that, I don't get it why it doesn't go down ever.
So it has enough capacity to hold on to that gear, right?
We're not driving that fast now, are we? So if you push it a little harder and a little further...
Here it goes to the 4th. You don't get to feel the speed in this car!
Wow, look at that Citroen. // So we've been tailing this Duster for 18 hours. I think it's time we overran it.
[S]: Here we go! It's on! Go go go!
[S]: Feel it? Did you just feel it really go?
[V]: What the heck is that?
Well, you did something to the controller. Maybe this is the backside of it? Btw, did you feel it pump a little on switching the gear?
Hey, look! That Citroen did overrun us ultimately! That guy set a goal and accomplished it!
[S]: Now he's gonna tell everyone he did it!
He'll come home and be, like, 'Honey! I overran a GTR today!'
- Did they know you were racing them? - You bet! They were driving at 200 km/h on that terrible road!
Now you see what's the difference between our channel and that of Erik Davidych's?
He's racing sportcars on Moscow Ring Road, we're keeping up with a Citroen Picasso on a suburban road.
[S] (on the phone): I'm on a shooting. Yeah...
[S]: Now it's hitting it.
With the HVAC and the auto mode on.
[S]: And no cuts!
For me, 200 is high speed. I need to go and go and go to get to 200. And here, I just pushed a little,
I switched something, the car speeded u, switched the gear - and here comes the 200!
It is not scary at all in this car. I thought it would be some adrenaline infused experience. Not really.
The Citroen is trying to catch up with us again.
That Citroen is not that easy.
Hey, cargo drivers! Are there any truck drivers among our audience? Tell me, please. What is it that so many of you are dicks?
Why do you occupy the left line and creep in it slowly even when you know people are willing to overrun you?
I get it, maybe car that big are difficult to manipulate. But the right line is freakin' empty half of the time!
And yet they still block the left line.
Hey, Serge, you have a very slow car. We got outpassed by a Citroen, Kia Cerato and two Cee'ds!
That Citroen gives me chills.
[V]: Hey, there's a granny in it! Look at her! Holy cow, she's with kids!
This is the first video ever where a Nissan GTR competes with a Citroen Picasso!
And the Picasso even managed to outpass the GTR once!
So guys here ran an express-diagnostics on the phone. They need to check the flow control valve or something like that.
It doesn't hit now. You what I remembered? When I turn on the BMW's system for unprepared people,
they al go,like, 'Fck! That is loud AF!' And I'm, like, 'Nope, not really.'
The BMW doesn't hit, the Hummer doesn't hit. I feel pretty much the same as those people.
For me, it would be enough. I mean, the car went up to 200 in no time. We speeded up to 270, even more.
But, yeah. There is some pushing. When I was driving, it ended upon kickdown.
Guys had tried that before. And so they decided --
[S]: Not to discharge good connectors in cars like this.
[S]: And now it's either the flow control valve, and we gotta readjust it,
[S]: or it could be the software, in which case we need to reinstall it.
Today the car was very small. Well, you git it, I guess. We even got beaten by a Picasso with a grandma and kids.
Thanks to Sergey, and his friend Vladimir for coming down to Rostov and showing such a wonderful car.
This is considered a Supercar if I'm not mistaken. Not a coupe or something, right?
[S]: Let's call it Nissan's answer to all the other supercars.
Like a cheap one. Or so they think.
[S]: Yeah. Well, it is considered the fastest and the strongest car.
The shittiest Lamborghini you can find, you'll be able to buy it no less than for ₽4-5,000,000.
A new Huracan would cost you some ₽14-16,000,000, something like that.
But if you manage to find one of these monsters (which is a problem today), you can get one for ₽6-7 million.
Damn, Sergey, you HAVE to tell what it costs. The cam's battery is dying.
[S]: The car costs
No can do. See? We're shooting a movie. [Gypsy ladies are professional beggars]
[S]: Would you like to star in a movie? It's called 'Conmen of Rostov'!
Maybe those were honest people!
[S]: Yeah, honest. Sure!
Check out all the cabbage they've lifted from the market!
[S]: Yeah, I we saw it.
Crazy, right?
