Some people have asked me...
-What video editor do you use?
And I say...
-Why the question?
And they answer...
-I want to make a video with clones too
The editor is the tool of the creator...
What makes the magic is not the editor...
... it's YOU
Tutorial: How to make clones // Difficult: easy // Edition time: 15-30min // Needed: 2 takes, 1 tripod (or table), 1 video editor program, 1 actor (obvious), cookies (for the break)
You're gonna need a tripod or a desk, the idea is that the camera stand still during the whole recording
But pay attention, the camera CAN NOT MOVE
If you use a light camera and don't have a tripod, I suggest that you record all video and cut the scenes in the editor
Well, you're gonna need 2 takes in opposite sides of scenario
Later you'll need to cut these scenes
So, take care to not cross the cut limit...
I suggest that you make a line on the floor, because then you'll know that you cannot cross this line
Now is the edition time. First I'll show how to make this on Adobe Premiere Pro
Importing...
Cropping...
Fixing Brightness and Contrast
TADAAA! Now I'll gonna show how to do this on Sony Vegas
Cropping...
Feathering...
If you'll use the sun illumination, take care with clouds, because the illumination can change and you'll have problems
Also take care with the actor shadow. Be sure that the shadow will not cross the cut limit
If you want to do interaction between the clones, I suggest that you use some sound effect ( . . ) to set the recording start
In this way it will be easier to synchronize the tracks
If you want to use a music, besides the synchronism points ( . . ) it's essential that you record the video listening the music or a metronome, to don't get out of tempo
I hope that you have liked the tutorial, if you have a question is just post in the commentaries section
And if you made a video with clones, you can post as a answer of this video
-Don't forget to tell about the music
Ah, and next video is a cover of O Teatro Mágico, so, wait you there!
