We want to talk to you today about Christian dating and making out. Now, I believe it's
very important for young and old to understand that Christian dating, the number one thing
must be purity. We must understand that we need to esteem one another greater than ourselves,
is what the Bible says. And, I like to look at it like this. If we're, if you're a Christian
and you're on a date, than you should treat that woman or likewise you should treat that
man, as with much respect, as with much love and honor as you would, all the time, as if
they're parents were right there with you. Now sometimes you go on Christian dates and
when they're younger, the parents are there! But there will be times when you are alone,
and you're dating. And, you have opportunities to make out. You need to ask yourself that
question. Would I do this if her mom, or his mom or their dad were there? Would you? Probably
not. But you know what, as Christians, one of the things that we need to understand that
even beyond mom and dad, Jesus is there. And so, if, if we're Christians and you're going
out and your in a position to where you think that, you know, things might lead to something
and you begin to make out, would you do that if Jesus was right there? I think not! I think
not! And so we need to understand that, that he is there at all times. But that's a good
thing. That's one of the good things about dating as Christians, because we believe we
live in a, to a higher standard. And we strive to hold ourselves to this standard. See, and
when we begin to enter in a relationship that way, and we begin to cross the line and go
past where we need to go, as far as making out is concerned, you can only do damage.
You only do damage. You know, and you don't esteem and respect the other person like you
should. You know, there's plenty of time for that, and those levels of intimacy once one
is married. You know, but, in the dating relationship, always remember to let respect and let purity
be your number one focus and you can never go wrong. Because Jesus is there.
