Hi! Kathleen Wright from Kathleen Wright Jewelry. Getting back to different lengths, if an older
lady wants a longer piece, ask them approximately where they like the necklace to hit. Then
you can play around, this is probably a 36 inch necklace, it’s hitting right below
the center of my body, if they want something more on the skin that’s not hanging it over,
I would make it about an 18 inch or a 16 inch if you’re going to be putting a chain. So
make sure you ask somebody what they like because that’s a really great tip when you’re
making it for the right length. If you are able to measure the person whether it’s
a bracelet or not, you’re measuring the actual wrist, my actual wrist only really
measures a little heavier than a 6 a little over the 6 mark but if I’m coming down here,
it’s a little bit different, maybe a tad bit less but for a bracelet you want to add
another inch always to your measurement.
