Well, on my tour, I was getting a tour of campus and I was walking through all of the different places that you know I spent my time here...
I walked through the dining hall, and I saw all of these troughs of cereal...
And I turned to my dad and the person I was getting the tour with and I said: "I'm going to come to Fisher."
So cereal is why I chose to come to Fisher. No in all seriousness, I chose Fisher because, I went to the University of Buffalo for another tour
and I just saw the lecture sizes. Me and my dad looked at each other and just thought "Wow. This is just, I would just be a number."
And I from the first moment I stepped on Campus, I met a professor and he knew my name.
And that's what really came home with me and meant the most to me.

Part of my, my first year here, I had a professor take me aside and said, "Matt, I think you would be really good to be a political science major. I think you have the right mind for it."
After giving it some thought, I realized that Political Science would be the best fit for me. It is a current major, I would stay current with what's going on in the world.
So I declared it and I never looked back.
I'm also a communications minor, and an American Studies minor.
It allowed me to get a little fix of history with the American Studies, and the current technology, personal skills with the communications that, that offers.

Well I've been involved with Student Government as President, Vice President of Student Services, I was trips coordinator for SAB, I was a student ambassador, I am an RA, was an RA, am an RA. You know, I've done multiple internships
that the college helped me through. Whether it be, interning down in Washington DC, or interning right here in the Office of Freshman Admissions. I definitely think that Fisher provides you with a co-curricular experience.
In that, what you learn inside the classroom is important. But I also learned a great deal outside of the classroom.

Either Taco Tuesday, and I always get this taco salad. Which I didn't realize I could get a taco salad until just last year.
a friend introduced me to it. Or the buttermilk ranch chicken sandwiches. I mean I know that's a classic, but it's just delicious.
Or the cereal! Like I said before.

I would say, that my favorite memory would be in the tail end of my sophomore year. Being able to run for Student Government President, and thus completing Student Government President my junior year.
Being able to serve the student body, and the people I have come to love and be my friends and everything. To be able to be their resource, and stuff was just an awesome experience.
When I look back at college, that's what I'm going to remember, being able to serve and run around and loving it.

I just want to be doing something I love. You know whether that's you know some sort of job in an admissions department it's like where I'm interning now, whether it's something in politics,
Or whether it's doing service work in California. You know, I'm really so excited for life. You know I've always been taking classes and being in a college setting and in a high school setting I'm just so excited to embrace life.
and be able to do whatever I can do and go where the wind takes me. So I really, am happy with having no idea where I'm going to be in five years and that's where I want to be.
