>> Court: I'm here at the Electric Bike shop in Sacramento, California, with the owner,
Mike. And Mike, can you kind of show me these Hebb bikes over here, it sounds like you've
got 2 Electroglides. Can you give me the rundown?
>> Mike: Sure, I got an Electroglide 1000 right here and the Electroglide 500. The 500
with the 350 watt motor, and then the 1000 with the 500 watt motor and the pedal assist
optional on it as well.
>> Court: Interesting, so a little bit misleading, this one, the 500 has a 550 watt motor and
the 1000 has a 500 watt motor. I've seen these before, they're pretty cool bikes, you've
got that adjustable neck, the battery's kind of mid-mounted so it balances the weight of
the bike, and
>> Mike: Right uses Shimano in-hub gearing system, 7 speed on the rear, which makes it
really nice. No derailleur too, for the chain or whatnot to fall off
>> Court: Perfect
>> Mike: Theoretically
>> Court: Yeah, and you can shift when you're at a standstill right? That's one of the
>> Mike: Right, and without pedaling it's nice
>> Court: Okay, how much do these, kind of, retail for?
>> Mike: Well the 1000 retails at $2699, Bill Hebb's no longer bringing in Hebbs anymore.
I'm selling my demos off at 1500 and 2000 at the moment right now.
>> Court: Wow, that's pretty sweet, yeah, and you've got a bunch of different bikes
to choose from here, but these are pretty good kind of all around set up and it looks
like they've got the twist throttle, do they also have pedal assist?
>> Mike: Just new with the 1000 does.
>> Court: The 1000 has pedal assist, okay
>> Mike: 5 Levels of pedal assist
>> Court: Thank you so much that's awesome.
>> Mike: Sure.
