I'm George Self, and this is Velocigram. In today's episode, we're going to focus on how
you can get help as you're working with Moodle. Of course, I like to think that your best
source of help is from the staff of the Virtual Campus. We're always available by email and
will be glad to work with you on any issue that comes up. There are, however, two other
sources of help for you. The first is the Moodle website: moodle.org. This site includes
all of the official Moodle documentation, along with a very active user's forum where
you can post a question and get an answer fairly quickly. The site is also fully searchable,
and it is my personal go-to spot for any help that I may need with Moodle. The third way
that you can get help with Moodle is to use the the help that pops up as you fill out
some Moodle form. Adam has much more information about that capability in just a few seconds.
As always, don't forget that help is only a phone call or click away.
Hi everyone; I'm Adam Woodrow, Instructional Media Specialist for Cochise College. I want
to share with you a Moodle feature that I think you'll like. When you create any kind
of activity or resource in your course, I bet you ask yourself, 'What is blind marking?'
or 'Should I enable completion tracking?' Moodle has blue, lower case 'i' info buttons
scattered throughout the settings page of each activity or resource. When you click
on these buttons more information about that specific setting opens in a pop-up bubble.
The information from these buttons may help you create much more efficient activities
for your course. If you have any questions, remember, help is only a phone call, or (an
info button) click away.
