Hola baby I'm Anita Margarita
and I'm going to make a new recipe for fall it's called
Orange You Glad Its Fall. I'm going to start with
one of my favorite tequilas. It's Azunia Reposado
and the key to a great margarita
is starting with a really terrific tequila.
And it's going to add nicely to our cocktail.
Buttery and citrusy flavor to it
and its gonna make a nice compliment to the oranges
and the limes and everything else we are adding.
Captain Morgan spice rum you may have that in your cabinet.
Grand Marnier which is this wonderful orange and cognac
drink its gonna add a very rich flavor. We are gonna add bitters
and grenadine and some other things. So I'm gonna get started and show you how it
works. It's a very easy drink to make.
I'm going to start with the reposado tequila.
This has been aged for a minimum of three months
in American oak barrels, which has a wonderful flavor. Add 1-1/2
ounces of reposado.
And you are going to use 1/2 of an ounce
Captain Morgan
Spice in there to give extra flavor.
Since it's called Orange You Glad It's Fall, we're gonna add some Grand Marnier.
Nice amber color, very sweet.
After that you can add some orange juice
I always like to use fresh squeezed orange juice. I already squeezed this.
3 ounces of this. You can use juice if
you are making a lot these. You can use juice
from a carton
Really makes this delicious.
Put a half of lime in there.
Gives it a little bit of zest.
So, we are going to squeeze a half of lime.
We need a little dash of grenadine.
Just dash because you want to make sure that you're getting
nice pumpkin color in there but not too red.
Adds a little sweetness.
Then to mix it up a little,
add pumpkin pie spice dashes.
Add couple drops of bitters.
Time to shake it up.
Then use one of these beautiful
round bottom glasses.
Too top it
off for a great presentation
use an orange wheel
and a pepper.
A beautiful Fall drink.
