Let's now get a weather update with Lee JeeHyun, who's standing by at the weather center. Good
afternoon JeeHyun
Good afternoon everyone More people are starting to plan for their summer vacations, and I
don't know about you, but I am not ready for bikini season, so I've found a really easy
way to give your stomach a workout without having to go to the gym.
That sounds good. What is it?
Ok, so stand up straight, hands at your sides, and breathe out while forcing your belly inward.
Hold that for 10~30 seconds and repeat 10 times.
Oh, so I should hold the breath for 10 to 30 seconds while holding my stomach in?
No that's the common mistake Make sure you are breathing normally the whole time you
are holding your stomach in.
That's quite similar to what we normally do to hide our tummy.
Yes exactly.
Hope you'll all give this exercise a try. Now back to the weather...
Well, we are having a much brighter afternoon with mild daytime highs. But there is a lingering
chance of passing showers in the central inland region in the afternoon. This pattern is due
to the instability in the atmosphere from the heat and humidity, which is common for
this time of the year.
Tomorrow, we'll start out with lots of sunshine and we have a tad warmer afternoon in the
picture for most regions. And it looks like there's not a significant chance of rain in
sight as we head toward the end of the week.
Coming back to today's forecast, the high pressure system over the east is providing
sunny spells in most areas and temperatures will get well into the low 30s. So with that,
let's take a closer look at today's readings Seoul will climb up to 31 degrees Celsius,
that's 88 Fahrenheit, while Daegu and Gwangju will get up to 29 and 30. But the highs in
Busan and other east coast areas will slide off into the low to mid 20s.
For other regions, there will be small outbreaks of sun on Jeju this afternoon, while Dokdo
and Mt. Geumgang top out at 23 and 26.
That's all for Korea and here is the global forecast for viewers around the world.
