yes
so this american lock is one of those ones that has a cracked cylinder
from the uh...
i think uh... epic padlock series um...
and uh... i recently got one of these peterson uh... american bypass tools and
when i was working on trying to pick
his cousin um...
i tried using this and it didn't work and
felt more motivated today
I tried going against instructions and you're supposed to put it in
this way with the flag facing down
they see that yes uh...
and that there wasn't getting any love that way so that
with the flag facing up and i just had it open
and uh... see if i can do it again
you kind of jiggle and... you see there... I think
there it is
that's it open
so
(heh) this might be key-retaining
it's definitely pick-rertaining
but uh...
there's the balls
uh...
and uh...
opened like that
see if I can
get my pick back
or my bypass tool back
let's see if his friend, who has a different
who would remember was a different configurations if his friend has the
same
bypass that have not tried this one yet, so I have no idea if it'll work
the people at american
obviously uh...
don't go actually bypassing other people's locks. that's illegal and immoral and
could get us all in trouble
I'm getting that spring pressure that I was getting in the other one
felt in the other one
gets processed shackleton's if that would help me
it seems a bit fiddly
where you have to put this thing
to get it to work
and I really don't want to break this thing off in here
i think the given sufficient
motivation one might be able to
defeat this thing
of course, might also be an artifact of the fact that the core is broken
and so that was interesting
american had that has defect in so many of their locks and a master has carried
onto their own locks
i'm after picking up american
um... and defiling them in other ways
and yet american apparently has had this defect in locks going back as far as
however old these things are
I don't know, but they've got one of the older logos on them so
they don't have the date stamps on them
I don't know if we'll ever know exactly how old they are.
i think they perceive shifted to conduct their ears open
so that's two of them
bypassed
of course, I can't do both at same time because
they're key-retaining, it would appear
...or the spring is really stiff
but no, i think it's key-retaining
so yeah so they've designed this um...
bypass feature into their locks for
untold decades
for reasons that only
maybe an accountant at american lock could explain to you
so
thanks so much for watching uh... please subscribe to my videos
and as always have fun and please keep it legal
