Hi! I'm Victoria Boano
Editorial Director of Libros del Tatú.
When I was a little girl,
I enjoyed perusing birding guides alongside my family;
and it was with them that I learned about the birds of the countryside,
the city, and those in our own backyard.
I wanted to recreate that very experience in the publishing house's maiden project,
and that is why I sought out Mariela Califano, both an architect and an illustrator,
to develop the artwork for "Birds of Buenos Aires".
"Birds of Buenos Aires" is an illustrated field guide,
to introduce children to bird watching
and teach them about the most common indigenous birds
that inhabit Buenos Aires' green spaces.
The field guide is 56 pages long, comes in paperback format,
and is the perfect size to fit into any backpack.
Full of colorful illustrations,
the guide contains information on 20 bird species,
offers plenty of room to sketch or jot down notes -- and more!
The book is almost finished, but getting it published is quite expensive.
We need your help to bring "Birds of Buenos Aires" to life.
You can sponsor us right now via the project's website featured on www.idea.me

Thank you!
