I’ve worked with EDC and clinical trials for probably about 15 years.
So, my background was nursing.
We had all kinds of notebooks and passwords and
you know, trainings for different type of databases.
You know, paper, it’s cumbersome, it’s slow, it’s not real time,
it’s the dinosaur of data collection.
You know, EDC the beauty is, it’s real time.
Everybody has access, everybody can see the same thing at the same time.
It’s a simple solution for people working in hospitals or clinics to be able
to log in to one system and do everything they need.
You know, databases aren’t perfect.
You’re going to have bumps, you’re going to have glitches,
but when you have a relationship with a client where they know you,
where they know who to go to, where they know you’re their person
and you’re going to see them through whatever the issue is,
you develop a deeper relationship with those people.
We have people with great strengths in technology that help develop
and build the systems and we also have people with experience in life sciences,
you know nurses or people with clinical backgrounds like myself,
that can really understand the clients’ protocol, where they’re going with it,
and help guide the solution and the configuration for them.
I’m Dana, and I’m here to get our clients what they need.
