In this video I would like to show you how the airplane light works and what the benefit is.
Before starting the training, please subscribe to my channel, turn on the notifications and don't forget to like the video if you like it.
All right when we looking to the overhead panel, we will talk about the aircraft lights from left to right.
And the first lights where we gonna talk is the landing lights.
Landing lights are lights we are yousing it on takeoff and landing.
You have to turn on this landing lights while taking off and at landing and you can use it below 10.000 feet.
And above 10.000 feet we have to turnoff this landings lights.
This landing lights where we talking about is on the wings.
When you turn on this landing lights it will illumunate outside infront of the aircraft.
When you using this landing lights, you should use it only when you are lined up on the runway.
Because it can shine into the eyes of other pilots or other people in the traffic.
You can turn on the landing lights with this 4 knobs
Two knobs on left is for the left wing and two knobs on the right is for the right wing.
So we turned on our landing lights.
Allright as you can see the landing lights are turned on on both of the wings.
This landing lights illuminating in front of the aircraft.
In the cockpit we can turn off our landing lights like this.
Okay my friends second thing where I want to talk about is the runway turnoff lights.
We using this lights when we taxiing on the ground. We using this lights at the same time with the taxi lights on.
This light will illuminating the taxiway and this its on each side of the aircraft.
This lights are nearby the landing lights.
This light is usually used in the dark and has the function to illuminate the taxiway.
You don't have to use this runway turnoff lights on the takeoff.
So let's turn on the runway turnoff lights so you can see which knobs this are.
Allright when we looking from outside we can see the the runway turnoff lights and it's nearby the landing lights.
you can see it on both side of the aircraft.
As I said before this runway turnoff lights illuminating the taxiway with 45 degrees infront of the aircraft.
As you can see here the runway turnoff lights illuminating left and right side with 45 degrees.
Okay and let's turn off out runway turnoff lights from here.
Thirt lights where I want to talk about is the taxi lights.
You can find this taxi lights on the main wheel.
And this taxi lights will turn on
This taxi lights in the dark making your taxiway visible.
When you turn to left it will turn also to left and when turning to right it will also turn to right.
While taxing you have to turn on your taxi lights and keep it on.
Fourth lights I want to talk about is the logo lights.
This lights are on the horizontal stabilier wings and it's illuminating the vertical stabilizer wings.
So other trafic can see you and they know which airliner it is.
You can turn on this logo lights in the evening. On daylight you don't have to turn on this logo lights.
We turn on the logo lights now and let's see from outside how it looks.
Now we turning off our logo lights.
Fifth lights I want to talk about is the steady lights and strobe and steady lights.
With this *** you can change it to two different lights.
When steady lights are on. You can see on the wing tips lights illuminating.
Let's try it out.
First we bringing the *** to steady position.
Let's see how it looks from outside.
Left wing tip will illuminate a red light.
On right wing tip will illuminate a green light.
And behind this lights will a white light illuminating.
This lights will continously illuminate and this are the navigation lights.
When you turn on this lights other traffic should and ground personal know that you are ready.
Now when you are on the runway and you are ready for takeoff.
Than you have to get this *** to ready and steady position.
When you bring it back to the strobe and steady position..
There will be a white light flashing on both side of the wings and at the tail.
This is meaning that you are ready for takeoff.
You have to use this strobe and steady lights from the takeoff untill the landing.
Let's look from outside how it looks when turning the *** to strobe and steady position.
As you can see on the right wing we see a white flashing light.
And the same for the left wing.
The tail has also a flash light and it should illuminate the ground when flashing.
When we bringing the strobe and steady *** back it will turn off the strobe and steady lights.
Sixth lamp I want to talk about is the anti collision lights.
You have to turn on the anti collision lights when you are about to start the engines.
keep on this lights untill you shutdown your engines.
Anti collision lights are actually to attent people on the ground,
And to warn other people around your aircraft. And also other traffic.
This lights are above the fuselage and below the fuselage.
And it gives a red colored flash lights.
Let's turn on the anti collision lights and have a look from outside.
As you can see one is above...
And the other one is below and is flashing in red color.
We bring back the anti collision *** to off position and we turn it off.
7th lights I want to show you the wing lights.
The wing lights are on both sides of the aircraft body.
And when you turn on the wing lights it will illuminate the wing.
We use the wing lights at take off and landing.
Below 10.000 feet you have to keep the wing lights on.
This is to make you visible for other traffic.
We turn on the wing lights and let's look from outside how it looks.
As you can see the wing lights are on the left side and at the right side.
This will illuminate the wings.
The wing lights will illuminate the engines and the wing completely.
Okay my friends, now we turning off the wing lights with the same ***.
And at the last part I want to talk about the wheel lights.
Actually this is the wheel lights of the aircraft.
And this lights are on the main wheels.
It's together with the taxi lights.
Let's turn on all of our lighst and let's see how it looks from outside.
