Hello everyone! :o]
In this video I'd like to show you what I have coded so far.
Let's start the server...
... and one client instance.
Sorry that you can't see the mouse pointer, I recorded this via VLC. ^^'
Since this is multiplayer, let's start a second client instance!
Now with each client I'm gonna log in as 'user1', respectively 'user2'...
... and load their characters 'oso1' and 'oso2' that I had already created.
Oh, and let's try a movement command while we are at it.
Let's move (or rather slide) them around.
Notice how every change I do in one client affects the other one too.
It also works when I unload oso2:
The char disappears...
... and reappears in both clients once I load it again.
This is all done by the server's management.
Let us give these bears some privacy and shutdown the clients... :o]
... which means unloading char, logging out and disconnecting.
Now I show you the currently only way to create a new character.
Shutdown the server...
Well, that's it until now.
To date, this small demo requires...
... over 3000 lines of code ...
... and 73 types (classes, enumerators, interfaces).
