Hi everyone!
Welcome back from what I hope was an enjoyable break.
My name is Julie Austad, and I am one of the Reference and Instruction Librarians for Clark College.
And I'd also like to formally introduce myself as the library's subject liaison for Basic Education,
English, Communication Studies and Humanities.
So what does that mean, exactly?
For one, it means that as your subject liaison,
I am your Go To person if you would like to help your students find library resources for your classes.
The library here has a lot to offer, and is constantly growing and expanding our collection,
so if you'd like some help navigating to the resources that best fit your curriculum,
I can help with that.
Also, if you have an idea for resources that would be a good addition to the library's collection,
all you have to do is send me that item's information (usually title and author is enough)
and then I can look into ordering a copy for the library.
Please don't hesitate to contact me if you have any questions.
And just as a reminder, all of the librarians here at Clark are available to schedule and teach
library instruction sessions. Please contact any of us to set up a date (and it has to be at least 7 days in advance),
and we will design a lesson just for your students.
Thank you for watching, and have a wonderful Winter Quarter! Thank you.
