Hey YouTube, my name is Tobias and you're watching the fourth episode of Domino TV.
First of all a big SORRY that I uploaded the show so late. It wasn't possible earlier due to health reasons.
But without further ado, let's start with the news.
Not less than three world records were broken this month. TimDomino set up the smallest dominoes,
and two records were broken by DominoProduktion: the biggest 3D pyramid and the longest wall.
There are links to all three records in the video description, they're worth watching. And you know...
I'll get the pyramid one day! ;-)
There is news about another world record - the one that was set up at Domino Day 2009. That was 4,491,863 dominoes.
That record turns out to be not acknowledged! So officially, Weijers' record number is from 2008, which was... 4,345,027
Thanks to Patrick (DominoProduktion) for letting me know that.
The video of the month in June is ludominosa's "Indiana Jones Portrait"!
So respect for that video - you find in the video description.
I still want to say something about this though: I think I need to change the way this rubric works.
I don't like how the winner is appointed in the next month, not in the month his video was uploaded in.
So I need to think of something else. Your opinion is important to me, so please tell me in the comments what you think.
Let's go on with last month's price. You could win three signatures - by Simon Stümke,
by Anno, and by Marcel Kamps. And this guy is the lucky winner! This was your comment.
[Comment says how the three builders are among the best dominoists, so it would be awesome to have signatures from them]
Now there will be less prices in the future; but I'll have a new rubric. More on that later.
The reason is just that there aren't enough domino-related things to give out as a price.
So the new category will be this: Every month, I will explain one certain topic on domino, for example...
I will explain how to build Direction Changers; or tips on setting up fields perfectly and as fast as possible,
or how to plan them, things like that.
Now I want to hear your opinion, of course, so please write comments. If you like it, the first tutorial will be on DC's.
Next month, CDT will happen! So I'll be in Cologne, and if Niclas doesn't mind, the next show will be produced in the hall.
That's it from me for this month; you'll see me again at CDT, and until then, keep on building!
