If you would enjoy a career making our world better, healthier, and cleaner, the environment,
soil, and water, science major might be for you.
In our major you will learn the science and technology of environmental stewardship,
which will allow you to really make a difference in your community.
The 27 faculty members in our dept are experts in their field. Our faculty and facilities
are unmatched my any other school in the state.
Our small classes are great for 1 on 1, hands on
learning. Faculty advisors help us design our own
research projects which have won awards in national contests.
Our student club works with the city of Fayetteville to restore a local wetland as
a new city park.
We have a great study abroad program in countries like Scotland, Israel, and New
Zealand. Our soil judging team has won regional and
national contests. It's great. You get to travel,
