Vahid Lofti: Hi, I'm Vahid Lofti, Associate Provost, welcome to the University of Michigan-Flint.
Erica Trig: Hi, my name is Erica Trig, and I'm majoring in medical technology and biology,
and I guess my one piece of advice would be for you guys to make sure you guys get to
know your faculty. I know we tell you that all the time at orientation, but we really
do mean it cause it's a great way to get connected, for you guys to get to know what's going on
in your major, what's going on in your department, and also for you guys when you guys are going
to graduate to get those recommendation letters because those are gonna be really important.
So get to know your faculty as soon as you can.
Abby Sac: Hi, I'm Abby Sac um, I'm an elementary education major, and um, I just encourage
you to get a part of a community because that is like the best way to get through these
years of college, so good luck! Brian Proffer: Hey you guys, my name's Brian
Proffer. I'm the Student Activities Coordinator here at the university. Um, if you need me,
you can find me in the Student Organization Center. And a helpful hint would be to come
to the center and find out the hottest things going on on campus whether it be student clubs
or student events. So, see you guys later. Jodie Mare: Hi, my name is Jodie Mare. I'm
a double major with theater and psychology and I think you guys should all go greek!
Erica Jones: Hi, my name is Erica Jones, a junior here at the University of Michigan-Flint
majoring in secondary education and mathematics and the best tip I have for you guys is to
stay focused. Alex Benda: My name's Alex Benda. I'm an international
business student and something I would say when coming to the University of Michigan-Flint
is definitely join up for clubs. Even if you think ya know, I might not have time for it,
you don't always have to commit, but it's better than to have done and lost, then to
never have done before. So that's what my tip is. Stay classy San Francisco.
Jenn swank: Hi, I'm Jenn Swank, Assistant Director of Admissions. Welcome to campus
from all of the Admissions staff. Sarah Kowalski: Hi, my name's Sarah. I work
in the Student Veterans Resource Center here at the University of Michigan-Flint. Welcome

at U of M-Flint. Mary Jo Sekelsky: Hi, I'm Mary Jo Sekelsky,
Vice-Chancellor for Student Affairs. Welcome to Fall 2011. We're glad to have you here.

Office. I just want to say welcome to all the new students and also stay encouraged
and be in touch with our student support services here on campus and you'll do great this semester.
Danielle Wilkerson: My name is Danielle Wilkerson. I'm majoring in elementary education and my
tip for students is to stay focused. Don't let any of the outside issues or problems
take over your life. Karen Arnould: Hi, I'm Karen Arnould. I'm
the registrar here at University of Michigan-Flint and I just want to say welcome to all of our
new students. Champagne Caldwell: Hi, my name is Champagne
Caldwell. I'm a student here at U of M. My major is pre-med and one tip I would give
to students here on campus is to us the resources available.
Becky Armour: Welcome to our new students and welcome back to our current students.

is to take time to enjoy the fun aspects of campus and also learn to manage your time
and have a great year!
