In this video we will demonstrate how to use the snipping tool that is built into the Microsoft Windows program perhaps you need to send
your completion dialog box or for some reason you need to capture a portion of your screen
first what you are going to do is
select the Microsoft office icon on the bottom left hand corner of your screen, typically
now select the All Programs
now select accessories
inside accessories scroll down and select snipping tool It tells you that its going to capture a portion of your screen you can save and e-mail
if you hold down your left mouse button you can take the dialog box and move it anywhere your screen anywhere you would like to
when you remove your
mouse from that dialog box because you've located it where you wanted you see this cross
place your cross in the corner of that area of the screen you'd like to start capturing and
push and hold down the left mouse button
and grab all of that box when you are complete let go of your mouse
now what you see is an option to save your screen capture
we will do a file

we are just going to save this to our desktop
and we are going to call it our screencast and click save
you also have the ability
to send this
you can e-mail it to someone
or which it would be in the body of the message or email as an attachment sometimes attachments are known to have virus' so that
some people don't like to open attachements so it's probably recommended that you do not send as an attachment
do make sure that you save a copy because some people don't have HTML email and won't be able to view your message
so click the e-mail
type in the name of person that are sending this to
