Hi, I'm Candi Cane Cannel with Expert Village. In this clip I'm going to show you how to
attach a little mouth to your doll. So all I've done is taken a small square of a fusha
color of felt and I've just cut out a little heart you can do any shape that you want.
If you want a circle or a smiley face or a kind of an oval moon shape it's all your personal
preference. So instead of just gluing this on to add a little bit more detail I'm going
to take some embroidery thread and I divided the embroidery thread a little bit. So instead
of the six grands I've gotten four strands I'm going to tie a knot at the bottom to secure
it and you can get embroidery thread at any arts and craft store or fabric store. They
come in so many colors sometimes they array it's just so amazing, I'm going to trim off
the access and then I'm going to start stitching my little heart to her face. I'm just basically
going all the way around just a little simple stitch and I just want to give it a little
bit of contrast. Cause the color even though it's brighter than the body it is kind of
similar so I figure by using a little darker embroidery thread you can try something a
little different and add a little pizazz. So you're just going to go all the way around
the mouth so after you've gone all the way around the entire heart just want to tie it
off with a secure little knot. I like the added handmade looking touch that the embroidery
adds so I'm going to go ahead and trim a little bit off and there you have it.
