I'm Shaun Schaefer on behalf of Expert Village and today I'm going to show you how to pack
up your drum kit efficiently. Now that we have the high hat cymbals packed away, I went
ahead and moved the stand out of my way. So now I have more room to work and walk. The
next thing I deal with are my two crash cymbals. Okay, I have two crash cymbals and a ride.
I do these together. And you'll see, I just unscrew that. And take the cymbal off. And
just make sure you always replace any like wing nuts and felts. These are felts right
here. Wing nuts and felts because they're so easy to lose, they're the little piece
of equipment that it just can go missing and you just had it, and don't know where it is.
And it's on the floor. So after I take that one off, I take this one off. Okay, replace
the felt, replace the wing nut. And then same thing with the high hat, this crash cymbal
on my left, your right, that I'm holding in my left hand, is a sixteen inch. It's a smaller
crash cymbal. So this one is going to go ahead and go into the cymbal case right on top of
the high hat. This is a seventeen inch crash, so this is bigger, so it's going to go on
top. So now that we got the crash cymbals packed away, let's go ahead and take a look
at our next step.
