Hi! This video is going to be a Little bit different and it’s because today I want to make a tag.
It’s my first time doing one in the channel so I hope you find it funny.
I really liked this idea that Ruth created.
From the channel xoxRufus, so I’ll leave it on the description box if you don’t know her yet.
And I hope you check it out.
And this tag as you have may noticed from the title is the “remake tag”.
And we take all clay pieces or I suppose whatever craft related item that you’ve made and then we re do it.
I think it’s super funny so we can see all the improvements that we’ve made in this time.
And I’m going to show you what I remade.
The pieces that I’m going to show are really old from when I started to work with polymer clay.
I made them when I was thirteen or fourteen and now I’m nineteen so you can have an idea of how long it has been since then.
And the first thing that I have is this.
They're supposed to be dust sprites.
And these are the first ones that I've made as you can't see they aren't pretty at least compared with the ones that I make now.
And I don't know it you can notice but they aren't really textured.
They eyes are really googly and the inside is painted with a pen.
The eyepin on this one has fallen.
And now I dropped it.
Here you have an example of the ones that I make now.
These are earrings and as you can see the eyes are indented.
Everything is made out of polymer clay..
It has a lot more texture.
And I'll show you one of each to compare.
Here you can see the big difference.
Then I have this ghost here.
Firs thing is the white clay is super dirty, I don't know how I did it to make it look this dirty but well.
The face is really unbalanced for my taste.
The mouth is too low.
And as you can see this I painted it with marker or acrylics I don't know.
And the cheeks I also painted them with acrylics.
The shape, I don't like it at all.
And I'll show you a new one so you can see the difference.
As you can see the new one is made with glow in the dark clay.
Which gives a different look.
And by the way I have a tutorial on this one if you want to check it out.
All the face is made with polymer clay.
And as you can see the face is pretty balanced, also I made eyebrows to give it more expression.
And the cheeks I paint them with chalk pastels instead of acrylics.
Because I think the result looks a lot more realistic.
Here you can compare, before and after.
As you can see there's a huge difference.
Then I have this toast here.
And this one is newest not too much but it doesn't have a lot of time like the previous charms.
As you can see the face is made with liquid Sculpey.
I made two stripes for the cheeks with acrylic clay.
Then also I used liquid Sculpey to make the melting butter.
And also it's dirty don't know if you can tell on camera.
And as you can see the color that I used is a brown that makes it look more like wholemeal bread.
And here is the new one.
As you can see in this one I used a brighter color.
At least it tries to resemble a toast.
For the butter I used liquid Fimo instead of Sculpey and it looks a lot more translucent.
And also the face I made it with polymer clay same as the other charms.
And the shading is a lot softer on the edges.
So here you can see the progress, both were made with a mold.
And if you can tell this one has some air bubbles in the clay.
Then I have a chibi version of Harry Potter I hope you don't be horrified with this, it's not the worst thing that I'm going to show in the video.
Here it is, I can hear your screams of horror from here.
Well, this one was the first chibi I've ever made.
To be honest it's the first thing that I made inspired by a character.
As you can see it's really ugly.
Well, the scarf is more or less decent, too think for my liking right now.
Also here there's a broken part of the scarf.
The body I made it super simple.
And it has a lot of finger prints.
And it's a really big charm.
I painted the eyes on the face with acrylics.
He doesn't have a mouth or anything like that.
And the clay is really dirty as you can see, here it has a black spot.
And the hair is horrible.
The funny thing is that in this part I tried to make the locks.
But in the back I just sticked a piece of clay there like if nobody would see it.
And I even left part of the head uncovered.
Well, I'll show you now the new one that I made, there's a tutorial on my channel.
And it's this one.
As you can see there's a big difference.
The eyes on this one are a different style, I didn't make a mouth either.
But I think it looks good like this.
The hair is really different.
It has a lot more texture.
And I cared a lot more about the details on this one.
The scarf as you can see it's a lot thinner.
The pattern on the scarf is also different.
And in this case I made the body in silver and the cape in black.
So there'd be a small difference.
And know I show you both.
As you can see there's a big size difference.
But well there you can see the progress of these years making charms.
Then as the first Totoro that I made I don't know where it is.
I'm going to show you this one.
It's on a cupcake but it's a bit of a mess.
And I want to talk about the Totoro so you see the difference between the ones that I made and the ones that I make now.
As you can see I added arms to this one.
This ear is broken.
And Totoro's ears are a lot different.
The details on the eyes and nose are painted with a marker.
This well, it's not that bad as I made it with clay and I was starting.
But the white clay is really dirty.
And generally that, clay is pretty dirty.
The bottom part well I don't even want to talk about it.
And this is an example of the Totoros that I made when I was thirteen, fourteen years old.
So that was a long time ago.
And here is one of the new ones that I've made.
It's made with pastel colors so sorry if you can't appreciate it.
And as you can see the difference is huge.
Now I make the ears with the real shape that they have.
All the details that you can see are made with polymer clay except for this here that are painted with acrylics.
And the clay is cleaner.
So more or less you can compare.
Then I'm going to show you the first dango that I made in my whole life.
To be honest I don't know how I'm going to describe this because it's pretty ugly.
Here is the first dango that I made when I started with polymer clay.
You don't need to tell me anything about them I know they're the most horrible thing you've ever seen.
And I never thought I'd show this on my channel.
Anyways you can see there's a lot of fails.
First of all: the faces.
The faces are made with a permanent marker and they have faded a lot.
You can tell on the white part.
Then I added acrylic paint to the cheeks.
The faces can't be compared to the ones that I make right now.
Even the shape.
The shape of the dango, they aren't even round.
They're super amorphous.
And the clay is really really dirty.
And the stick well, I didn't even leave a lot of it.
Also here, really really bad, everything looks bad.
And now I'm going to show you one that I made recently.
It's this one here the difference you can see it we don't need to talk about it.
The faces, the cheeks now I made them with pastels.
The clay is a lot cleaner.
Even I have other one that I made after making this one here.
And also you can notice a difference.
This one I made it not too long after making this other one.
Because I wanted to make it smaller even so there's a huge difference.
Also I want to show you the first bows that I made with polymer clay.
When I made them I was really proud of them.
Now I see them and it makes me want to cry.
First one that I have is this one I don't know what I made it brown because you can't appreciate it.
Well, I have a big idea when making it brown.
The back part is a mess.
I painted the details with acrylics, etc.
This one I didn't make it with same colors.
But to compare I have this one in pink.
As you can see the first thing to be noticed is the size.
Now I make things a lot smaller, also depending on what I'm doing.
But well the back of this one is a little bit ugly because I wanted it for making a brooch.
But the shape and everything is different.
And then I have this other one too in blue.
It almost doesn't have a defined shape.
The back is also a mess.
And I remade this one but with this other blue.
And again you can see the difference.
Another pretty old thing that I have is this eye here.
Well, when I made it I was pretty happy with the result.
Now I see a lot of this to improve.
And I'll show you the last eye that I made in this style.
This one I made it some time ago.
And you can notice a lot of difference.
As you can see this here instead of indenting it in this case I leave it like that, and here as you can see it's incorporated to the eye.
The paint on this one is a lot detailed.
Also I made the veins and stuff, and also this shading with chalk pastels.
And it's back flat.
As you can see the clay here is a lot cleaner.
Also I want to show you the first candy that I made.
Here it is.
It could be worst than this.
As you can see I only made the shape with clay and then painted all the details with acrylics.
The face is really ugly like the previous ones.
Also the cheeks are painted, in this case the paint fell off.
The back is super dirty.
Funny thing is that I made the pattern with the lines on the front side but in the back I didn't paint it.
And I'm going to show you the last ones that I made.
For a tutorial this one here.
As you can see everything is made with clay.
But I wasn't very happy with the result.
So I remade it and I have this one.
As you can see there's a lot of difference between both.
And last thing I want to show is one that I made recently.
For an order, here are both.
This one here is the first one that I made and this one the second.
As you can see there's also a difference.
Over all in the mouth and the size of the piece.
And those were all the things that I wanted to show you hope this tag was funny.
I had a good time making it and seeing the big difference between my old and new charms.
And I hope that if you make polymer clay charms do this tag.
And there's no need to have been working with clay for a long time or show super old charms like I did.Y
Just remake pieces that you've made and want to remake for improving them etc.
And also with this video the message that I want to share is that well, there may be people that have talent.
And have a facility to make some things but really the important thing is to be constant and persevere with everything we do.
And try to improve always a little bit more.
And that's how we're going to get whatever we want.
As you can see the first things that I made when I didn't know anything.
And I just started with clay and I didn't have any ideas, they were all a mess.
And now I see them and say, well they are ugly but when I was making them, I made them thinking well they didn't turned out that bad.
Or things like that. And actually I was proud of some charms because I dedicated a lot of time to make them.
I don't say I'm not proud of them right now, it's that now instead of just seeing that.
And say "I wasn't that bad" I say, "well now I'm better at it and I can improve it".
That's the atitude that I want you to have about this.
And don't say "well the first thing that I made is super horrible, I'm really bad at this I'm not going to keep going".
There's a saying here that says "nobody is born knowing".
So I encourage you to keep practicing and making stuff until you're really happy with whatever you do.
And be proud and say "hey, I did this and before I was horrible at it but now I'm amazing and I'm going to keep improving".
And that's all, hope this speech encourage you.
And also I hope to see your videos about this tag if you make it let me know in the comments.
And tell me to check out your channel and you've made it and as soon as I have some time I'll take a look.
And that's, thanks for watching this video, thanks to Ruth for the idea of this tag, I think it's amazing.
And if you want to see other one I cna always remake some pieces and make a part two of this tag.
That's all, thanks for watching see you on my next video, bye!
