Hi, AfonsodelCB Recording, and welcome to another video.
this time I bring to you a redstone tutorial. So, I'm subscribed to a Youtuber called Mumbo,
that made a more compact version of a trading system made by DocRedstone. DocRedstone's
version was sort of compact, but not enough, and mumbo's version was very compact but much
less efficient. So let's start with DocRedstone's. As you can see, the design doesn't allow a
clean floor, and it's not completely compact, but, if we test the system and throw in here
3 iron ores, we will receive 3 gold ores here. So, has you can see it gives you
the exact number of items, there is no way to cheat we can throw in here any other item
and it wont trade, you can't steal through this dropper and this hopper... basically
that. Now Mumbo's design, it's more compact, has you can see, but it is a lot more flaws.
for example, this system is suppose to work the same way, and when I place a iron ore,
it gives me a gold... ups sorry, forgot to clean this... ok, I got a gold ore. If I throw
63 inside it, I will only get 1 gold ore (it's one of the flaws). And, in this one I can't
do item spam inside it, because if I do it when I try to place more Iron ore after doing
that, this hopper will be filled - has happened before acidently. My design, doesn't have
Mumbo's version's problems, and yet it is more compact then DocRedstone's system. So,
if I open this chest, and place a iron ore in there, I will get another gold, and if
I place 5 iron ores I will get 5 gold ores... and if I do spam with different items - I
can do this till tommorow - and I can throw back in there my iron ore and I will still
get my gold ore. If you look at the circuit, it is sort of the same size has mumbo's, even
though it does the same thing has DocRedstone's, that has the double of the size. Well, the
circuit of my design is the same has DocRedstone's, but a little more simple. As you can see here,
coming out of this redstone torch, there is a redstone torch circuit, and as soon as I
saw this I noticed that this was a litle bit of a space waste, because, placing a dropper
here it will keep exactly the same distance to this chest, and it saves a ton of time
that the torches would take to turn on and off and also a lot of space. If I place the
gold ore here, break all of this here, and place these iron blocks here, this system
is almost the same has mine's, and if I place here a iron ore, I'll get a gold ore again.
Ok so, to build this circuit it is very easy, you just need a 4x3 area, place this chest
here, with a hopper facing him, then a block of gold here, with a comparator on top, a
block on the front, 4 gold blocks like this, 2 redstone dust, a repeater with 2 ticks,
another redstone dust, and a torch. Then a hopper facing this comparator, a chest on
top, another hopper on top with another chest, a dropper facing upwards with a gold block
on top, and now this here. For the trading system to work you need to place 22 of the
item you want to trade in this hopper and some - not necessarily 22, any amount - of
the item you want to trade for. So, now, if I place stone in here - I placed around 3
- we get the same amount, takes a short amount of time, it doesn't do that much sound...
very nice. So, if you enjoyed the video don't forget to hit the like button down there,
