>> KATARINA: We used to play here, but we stoped playing because of the cars were on the way and there was a risk that they could hit us. Then we started playing at the square, but over there the ball falls on the street, so we have to stop the cars and cross the street. It is also dangerous because the cars can hit us.
>> KATARINA: One time the car almost him
>> CAIO: Then I had to throw myself to the side. I rather do that and get a few cuts then break my legs, arms, or get killed
>> JANE (MOTHER): Cars often pass by, then we came to stop the game and take them out, so everytime my son comes to play I am here. I am always close by so that I can keep an eye on him. The cars sometime pass by very fast, so we have to get them out of there.
>> JANE (MOTHER): They don’t have a place to play, don’t have any place for the children to have fun. There no park, soccer field, or anything. They get really excited to play soccer, but when they don’t play here they do it on another street. If we had a place it would good thing for us.
>> JOÃO: We are already thankful for this initiative. We expect these things from the government, but since that does work, as an entity that deals with it, we are greatful. Even if we are not able to do it, we thank you. Now we gotta try to strengthen, together with you guys. We should not expect it just coming from you to make it a reality and have a space to enjoy soccer. The kids are born wanting to play in our country.
>> MANO: So could we count with the support of Vila Esperança?
>> JOÃO: Yes, count with us. Let’s work together
