To transfer an image on a cotton t-shirt you will need:
A cotton t-shirt
Sawgrass ChromaBlast inks
Compatible inkjet printer
Two sheets of protective paper (we recommend Teflon sheets)
ChromaBlast cotton transfer paper
Create your image using professional graphics program like Photoshop or CorelDraw
When sending the design to print use the correct settings of your Sawgrass colour management software for best quality
Print the image using Sawgrass ChromaBlast inks, compatible inkjet printer and ChromaBlast cotton transfer paper
Trim the transfer paper as close to the design as possible
Set the temperature of the press to 200 degrees C (375 degrees F)
Adjust the pressure to high (approximately 60psi)
Set the timer to 35 seconds
Place a sheet of protective paper on the bottom of the press
Lay the t-shirt on top of the paper and smooth it out
Put the printed design face down on the t-shirt
Cover with another sheet of protective paper
Close the press and begin the cotton transfer process
Open the press and remove the top layer of the protective paper
Quickly and smoothly peel the paper off the fabric to prevent any blurring of the image
Remember to stretch the fabric in both directions to reduce the 'hand'
Note that the shirt will be extremely hot
Other types of ChromaBlast substrates include
t-shirts, jackets, jeans, towels and other cotton items
