Californian senator, Ted Lieu, has been attacked by a gay cure group for backing a law that
would make it illegal to practice reparative therapy on young people.
Lieu was accused of being a fascist and engaging in ex-gay bashing.
The mayor of Reykjavik wore a pink belaclava and a dress during Saturday's gay pride parade
to show his support for Russian protest group, *** Riot.
Jón Gnarr became mayor on a platform of free towels at all swimming pools.
Melbourne dancers, Boylesque, won the first round of Everybody Dance Now on Australia's
Channel 10 on Sunday.
Kelly Rowland backed the troupe who are now headed for the finals, where they could win
a quarter of a million Australian dollars.
The lesbian partner of Dot Jones, who plays Coach Beiste on the tv series Glee, is suing
her husband for custody of their children.
They currently live with their father in Georgia, but Bridgett Casteen wants them to live with
her and Dot in California.
And finally, a trans man won the British Big Brother final this week.
