I'm Candi Cane Canncel with Expert Village. In this clip we're actually going to stitch
in our zipper. The first thing you want to do is change to a zipper foot. Most machines
will come with their own zipper foot. You just pop off your zigzag foot and then go
ahead and put on your zipper foot bringing your thread around. Now we're ready to actually
stitch our zipper in so you want to start with the left side, you put your fabric in
and what I like to do is actually start a little bit waist down from the top. Because
that way you're making sure that the little zipper head is out of your way. Now you are
ready to actually stitch you so put the fabric in the machine and what I like to do is start
about an inch in a half way down. That way you are ensuring that the little zipper head
is not going to get in the way and kind of cause your zipper line to distort it. But
we are going to go back at the end and finish that up.
