I'm gonna show you how to change the cabin air filter in a 2003 through 2007 Honda
Accord.
The cabin air filter is what filters the air that comes into the car through the
vents.
It lives behind the glove compartment. So what we are going to do is open the glove
compartment.
We're gonna pull the stuff out of the glove compartment. Various tools here.
Registration.
Car manual. And
ummm...yeah...I don't know where these came from.
So you go ahead, press in the sides of the glove compartment
and allow it to drop down, out of the way.
Now the cabin air filter is right behind here.
There's a tab right here. And a tab over here.
And what I am gonna do is go ahead and just squeeze those
in, and pull this whole unit out. Now I bought this car used, so I have no idea what
this is going to look like in here.
And...oh that is really dirty. But
I am going to change this out and put in a brand new one. Okay here's the part that I
pulled out from behind the glove compartment.
I'm just going to go ahead and slide the air filter
out at the frame. Shake off any of the
stuff out of the frame there. And then I have
the new air filter in which
I'm just going to go ahead and slide this in there.
Like that. Now you can just take the air filter.
Slide it into the slot. Let it snap into place.
Bring the glove compartment up. Press the sides in.
Let it lock in there. And
close it up. And I'm done.
And that is how you replace the cabin air filter on a 2003 through 2007 Honda
Accord.
I hope that helps!
