"How to Measure Your Cushion"
You will need a ruler or measuring tape, a piece of paper with a writing utensil,
and the chair you want to fit.
For the bottom cushion width,
measure from one side of the seating area to the other, between the arms.
If there are no arms, measure across the widest part of the chair.
Next, measure the chair depth from the back of the seating area to the front.
Add one inch to this number for fit and extra comfort.
For the top cushion height, measure from the top of the chair
back down to the bottom where the seat meets
the back.
Subtract the thickness of the cushion from the total height of the chair's back.
Then measure the width of the seat back from one side to the other.
Write your chair measurements down on a piece of paper for easy reference later.
If you already have cushions you want to use as reference,
just measure the width and height of both.
And don't forget to write down those measurements after.
Follow this guide and the next time you're shopping, you'll have perfect fitting cushions every time.
