In this video I show you how to make a Princess Bubblegum crown!
You'll need some cardboard, tin foil, plaster cloth and powder, mod podge, paint, hot glue,
popsicle sticks, sandpaper and a nail file, paintbrush, and oven-bake clay.
With a sheet of tin foil, fold it up into a couple of layers, and then make it the same
length as the circumference around your head. You can always add an extra piece if it's
not long enough. Make sure you put some tape on the tin foil to add extra strength.
Test it out by putting it on your head to see if it fits.
Right here I'm adding a piece of string on some paper clips to keep the oval shape.
Using plaster strip, cover the entire base of your crown. Make sure it's nice and secure,
do a couple of layers, to add strength.
To build the front of your crown take three popsicles sticks and glue them together.
On a piece of cardboard, draw the general shape of the crown and make sure your popsicle
sticks fit inside of this.
One you've glued your popsicle sticks to your cut-out shape, glue that to your crown.
Using more plaster strip layer up the piece you just made
To smooth out some of the lumps that plaster strip makes just take some plaster powder
and paint that on.
To make the gem of the crown take some oven-bake clay make two round balls and use a marblel
to push one of them in make sure you bake that and then hot glue that to your piece
with yet more plaster strip make sure your gem is nice and secure on your crown
my piece is still a bit lumpy so im just going to use some sandpaper
and a knife to cut down those rough edges
and now it's time to paint it!
use mod podge to finish off your crown
and here's my finished Princess Bubblegum crown! Thanks for watching!
