In this wonderful 3D Land episode, I'm completely asleep.
This is a cool level, very reminiscent of the old SMBy jumping Cheep Cheep levels.
I wanted to put a level like this into Newer, actually, between Yoshi's Island and Goldwood, but never really made anything.
Aw, butts.
That blooper on the left really did not feel like blooping today.
Why would I want a Boomerang Suit, let alone 3 of them?
Aw, should've been a 1UP here.
Okay, okay, stop it with the walljumps.
And here's a random lovely ledge with nothing.
Also you can sort of see the end of the fake prerendered pillar that's on the right there.
This reminds me of that one room in Super Mario RPG, the "3D Maze" room.
So, like, this Boo appears here, and you try to jump over it, and ''can't'' because they put invisible blocks here...
...and you're supposed to do some shenaningas on the left from here, but you can obviously just use the block they provided.
These super filled rooms happen from time to time, and they're pretty great.
And this is a concept reused from Super Mario Galaxy.
Since this is 6-4, they should have remade Thwomp's Fortress once again.
And then use it twice more in the Special Worlds.
And again in SM3DW...but, seriously, this actual level is, I think, reused twice in the special worlds.
It's sort of weird how Mario, being on a quest to save Princess Peach forces himself to go through bonus courses like this...
Whatever, though, I guess, it's Marlioz.
Uhm, um, hi, random ledge?
Oh, and thanks for despawning, platform. Much appreciated.
Welp, suicide. But, also, a question: Why can't you walljump off this ice?
Whoa, MLG Pro strats.
You can actually softlock the game by getting the boss stuck in some way in this level.
You can also walk headfirst into the fire like a complete moron.
And lose your powerup to the boss capable of giving you 1UPs. Way to put out this expert gameplay onto Youtube, skawo.
So as you can see, the end of the level is actually right there, and if you have a Tanooki Suit, you CAN easily get right there from here.
Buut, we have the star coins to get. It is a nice thing when they ask you to redo the courses with Luigi, though.
This is a mean trick, here. If you don't hold back when you come out of the other pipe, it auto- gets you the flagpole at the lowest spot.
