Hello! I just killed my narrator. Oops? I didn't write at all yesterday or put up a
video, sorry about that. I had a bunch of school stuff going on, and I also went over
to psychological services to talk about my panic attacks. That went really well, but
not going to talk about it today. Today, I'm going to talk about killing my narrator.
It's possible she's not dead, but there were gun shots, she collapsed, stopped breathing,
and the world apparently went black. The current last words I've written in my novel are, "And
then I died." What happened was I realised my story was not moving fast enough, considering
there's all-out war and genocide going on, so Analaka's meeting with President Pan was
rather rudely interrupted by violence. Spoiler alert: she's not actually dead—I just haven't
written anything beyond her saying she died—but things are now becoming quite interesting.
Stay tuned. Today's lesson though is that if you're stuck with your story, just try
shooting someone. I mean fictionally. Please do not actually shoot someone. If you are
actually considering shooting someone, please call a crisis hotline. I will put phone numbers
and links in the description below just in case. Anyway, I'm finally being productive
again and focusing on tasks, after spending the first few days of November sick, so once
I catch up on my backlog of things to do, I feel confident that I can catch up and finish
November with 50,000 words and a really cool novel. I mean, it's only the 6th, right? I
can do this. We can do this. Let me know how your Nov is going in the comments below, and
I will see y'all tomorrow. Bye!
