I love this statement in Colossians when he says that,
"You stand before Him with out a single fault."
You're like, "You don't even know this person that I'm sitting next to.
Do you live with my husband?" You stand before God without a single fault,
"A single fault?"
If you put your faith in Jesus, you become a Christian, you stand before God
without a single fault.
"But you don't understand, 25 minutes ago
before I got here I flipped somebody the bird, and I was laying on the horn, and i was cussing at them,
and I snorted a line of ***, and I had you know
premarital sex, about two and a half hours ago, and now I am in church. I've got some faults in me."
Look if you've committed your life to Jesus Christ
the blood of Jesus covers past, present, and future sins.
You stand before God
forgiven, restored, whole.
Now look, I'm not saying, I'm not saying, "I'm good to go, I can do whatever I want,"
I'm not saying that. We're all working, we're all improving, we're all maturing,
we're all putting away foolish things.
We know those aren't right,
but it's not something
that disconnects us from the grace of God,
because it's all about grace over achievements.
It's all about what he's done for us, not what we can do for him.
